So, I was going to write about color, and I wanted to look at what good old Wikipedia had to say and the first thing that caught my attention was the caption:
Color is an important part of the visual arts.
I guess they didn’t feel like taking more than five seconds to come up with something there.

Lazy 23. About the single best day to work, all year, in the US education system. No one is *really* hoping to accomplish anything, and about 40% of them don’t show up anyhow. I’m here today, but that mostly is due to the fact that this is My Day, essentially. I love working and not-working.

I am glad that the fines will stop against the NY transit workers, although I’d rather the MTA had completely buckled under the demands. Onward.

it is so cold outside, and i shine on, a sodium flame, orange, brilliant.
more fuel, pile it on, let the flame lick upward to the treetops, scorch the leafless branches, climb to the heavens, burn the angels, consume the universe. Just don’t let it stop.
Yesterday was the Solstice, so yes. Happy Solstice everyone! Now the nights will get shorter, once again, and we can roll downhill into Spring, please please, spring.
This weekend will be extended. I will travel to Toledo, Ohio. I will eat and be warm and happy and drive and try not to think. So much.
oh boy. I’ll be more coherent later, maybe.

Monday, once again. Light dusting of snow.
This weekend was squandered in various delightful ways, some involving wine and thai fusion food, some harnessing the powers of my newly obtained videocard. My new priest is coming along okay, but far too much time was spent in Molten Core yesterday, so I didn’t get a whole lot done on him.
This is a bullshit update, really. Laundry was done, but not enough setting up decorations or cleaning. Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, and so forth.
Fat poultry! Woo!
