Portal is really, really, really, really, really, really good.

We recently celebrated Christmas at my parents’ place, and prior to that, we celebrated Fricas (defined as the festive interval between the solstice and the 25th) at our place. I received, among other things, a copy of Geometry Wars Galaxy for the Wii, and a classic controller to go with it, and boy howdy is that a terrific game too.

Tonight, we will be celebrating a low-key New Year’s passage at the Raineys’ place, where hopefully there will be much cheer, drinking, and gaming.

There is so much to say and so little time to really say it.

As I stepped outside to shovel the walk, I noticed, in the snow, rabbit tracks leading up to the hole in trellis underneath our back deck. So I am guessing he really *is* living under there, or at least running there to seek shelter from the storms.

This past week has been a throw-away week at work. Let’s see if I can’t do better. The main problem, I think, is that I’ve just been largely uninspired and harried in the office. Bleh.
